Cincinnati Club | Cincinnati, OH I loved this wedding!  From the minute I met Fahema for the first time I knew that this was going to be a super fun wedding to photograph.  Her style, attention to detail and great personality made for some exciting pictures.

The wedding day started off like any other with me showing up while the brides and bridesmaids were getting ready.  We got lots of great shots of all the little details as you can see below.  The twist to this day happened when Fahema got a call right about the time that we were supposed to go out to do their portraits that Greg was more than just a little sick:(  I’ll spare you the details but basically he couldn’t make it out of the bathroom to even put on his suit.  They made the decision to postpone any pictures with Greg until after the ceremony in hopes that Greg just needed some rest.  As the ceremony got closer, it was evident that Greg was going to need a miracle in order to stand at the altar so a friend of a friend prescribed Greg a pretty potent anti-nausea medicine.  We were told its the same medicine that they give Chemo patients after treatment!  About a half -hour before the ceremony Greg walks in to the “Green Room” to cheers and the day was saved:)

We did get a chance to cram in a few shots with Greg after the ceremony and he even hung around for most of the reception.  He was a trooper.  I loved watching the will power he had to be a part of his wedding and have fun in spite of feeling like he was going to pass out.  There were numerous times he would go to the dance floor with Fahema, get his dance on like nothing was wrong and then go to a table and lay his head down:(

It turned out to be a really fun day in spite of a lot of obstacles.  It’s amazing how smooth everything was considering Fahema thought she might be getting married to Greg over the phone in front of everyone!  Fahema is fantastic…energy, sass and a huge heart!  Greg showed what lengths he is willing to go to make sure that Fahema is taken care of.  In a weird way, what a great start to a marriage.  They are a wonderful couple and I can’t wait to grab coffee or dinner next time they are both in town (They are moving to Brooklyn, then Philly after their honeymoon).  I love them.

Also, let me say to the Motz’s and the Rahman’s:  your families are beautiful and you treated me like one of you the whole weekend.  I was so impressed by your hospitality and spirit that I was truly sad to leave when the wedding was over…so I went to the after party:)    I often quote the famous song by the Beatles by ending my posts or email with “All you need is love (Ba ba bada da)”  I do it because I truly believe that love is a special thing that we don’t see enough of in life.  You guys demonstrated love to me and for that I am thankful!

You did an amazing job capturing my family and I believe an even more profound work here with this wedding. These are some of the most engaging photographs I’ve ever seen. This wedding was remarkable I can tell just from looking at the energy that springs to life from each of these images. Excellent work!

I could not be happier. Totally in love with these pictures. And you can’t tell at all that Greg was violently ill earlier that day! Thank you so much.
